Ingredients for GARLIC SCHEZWAN RICEđź’•

  1. Prepare 2 cups : soaked rice.

  2. Prepare 1 cup : green peas.

  3. Prepare 1 cup : sliced onion.

  4. Needed 1 cup : thinly sliced carrots.

  5. Prepare 1 cup : cauliflower florets.

  6. Prepare 1 cup : green beans.

  7. Needed Half : cup garlic cloves.

  8. Needed Half : cup sliced ginger.

  9. Needed 2 : tomatoes sliced.

  10. Needed 1 cup : soaked nutri.

  11. Prepare 1 cup : mushrooms.

  12. Prepare 2 tbsp : salt.

  13. Needed 1 tbsp : red chilli powder.

  14. Prepare 1 packet : fried rice masala.

  15. Prepare 1 tbsp : garam masala.

  16. Needed 1 tsp : black pepper.

  17. Prepare 2 tbsp : lemon juice.

  18. Prepare 1 tbsp : cumin and mustard seeds.

Why do I like this dish?

Because it has two of my favourite ingredients in it, garlic and schezwan sauce.

I simply love the aroma of fried garlic.

I prefer putting garlic in most of my food.

Process Cooking GARLIC SCHEZWAN RICEđź’•

  1. First soak the rice for 30 minutes after rinsing well.now in a pan roast garlic,ginger,cumin and mustard seeds..

  2. After making them golden add all the spices mentioned.now cook at low flame for 2 minutes add lemon juice too.now add sliced onion with all other vegetables.if any vegetable not available then its fine.just garlic is most important.

  3. Now after saute them at medium flame to just softened the vegetables.after cooking 8 to 10 minutes add rice.remember add double water than rice.just little less bcuz vegetables also have some stock.so add one and half cup water with two cups rice..

  4. Steam it at low flame until holes are appeared.just turn off the gas after holes appear and keep the rice at steam for 5 to 6 minutes.serve yumm garlic rice and keep immunity strong..

Once the oil is flavoured with garlic, put the rice in the same vessel of oil.

Add all the vegetables, chicken and prawns.
